Andrea Russo joins Bacciardi and Partners to lead the Employment Law Department of the firm and to start up Bacciardi and Partners’ new office in Rome.

Andrea Russo, after having achieved a wide experience in two renowned law firms and after having acted as the head of the legal department of a German investment firm with offices in Italy, decided to set up his own law firm, which specialized in several fields, with the aim of offering full assistance to Italian companies and to foreign investors. During his career, he focuses his professional activities on Labour Law.

Thanks to his short but significant experience at the Universitad Autónoma de Barcelona and his knowledge of Spanish culture and language, Andrea is accredited and short listed with various foreign public entities in Italy, such as: Oficina Económica y Comercial of the Spanish Embassy in Milan and Rome; Catalonia Trade & Investment, Milan; Basque Trade and Investment, Milan.

«Andrea’s entry – says Lorenzo Bacciardi – aims to strengthen further the services that the Law Firm provides to small and medium-size Italian companies, combining the employment and labour services with the corporate, commercial and tax expertise.»

Bacciardi and Partners pursues therefore its plan to develop and structure an articulated and integrated offer of professional services to small and medium-sized Italian companies and foreign investors while doing business across borders.

The new Employment Law Department advises clients on a daily basis in connection with:

  • contractualization of top and C-level personnel;
  • compensations, incentives and retention schemes of top and C-level personnel, also in connection with M&A transactions;
  • hiring, redundancies, contract management, due diligence for asset deals, collective redundancies procedures and unemployment benefits;
  • personnel reorganization solutions also in view of using the Italian “Fondo Nuove Competenze”(New Skills Fund);
  • ordinary management of labour relations;
  • labour and employment disputes.

«We want to support companies in their business transactions in Italy and abroad – Andrea Russo comments – we sit beside the entrepreneurs to understand their needs and share their culture and values. We know that, in these particular times, we have to increase our efforts and strive to be closer to our clients to assist them in their future planning, which, most of the time, implies some labour restructuring and reorganization activities to secure a new fresh and sound start.”

With this latest extension of the partnership, Bacciardi and Partners have increased its territorial coverage by adding a new office in Rome, besides the Milan, Bologna and Pesaro offices.
